REBECCA HENDRIX
THE WAY OUT IS THROUGH
MY APPROACH
I’m direct, warm, and attuned. In our work together, I don’t stay on the surface — and won’t support you to — but I work hard to create a space where going deeper at your own pace for growth feels safe rather than exposing. Lasting change happens when we can get to the core of the why —why aren’t we taking better care of ourselves, prioritizing stress reduction, or taking steps towards our goals?
Most of my clients are curious, self reflective and have already done a fair amount of work on themselves. They understand their patterns intellectually. What they are missing is someone who can help them actually shift limiting patterns — in their bodies, their relationships, and most importantly — how they relate to themselves.
HOW I WORK
I draw from a range of modalities depending on what each person or couple needs:
Imago Relationship Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) form the backbone of my couples work — both are rigorously researched and highly effective for understanding the cycles that keep partners stuck and building something more secure underneath them.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is central to much of my individual work. It offers a compassionate, non-pathologizing framework for understanding the different parts of ourselves — including the ones that seem to be working against us.
Somatic and energy psychology — including EFT tapping and Tapas Acupressure Technique — help reduce the intensity of past wounds that are still shaping present experience.
Spiritual psychology brings a deeper lens to the work: how can we be more compassionate towards ourselves, what is our biggest opportunity for growth, and how can we use our pain for our growth, upliftment and healing — rather than attracting similar experiences over and over again?
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is available for individuals and couples where clinically appropriate. I have five years of experience offering KAP and am trained by MAPS in MDMA-assisted psychotherapy (not yet legal or FDA approved). These modalities can open access to emotional material — and often are anti depressants/anti anxiety medicines in themselves —a combination that talk therapy alone may not reach.

A NOTE ON MAINE RETREATS
In addition to my New York practice, I offer private retreat intensives at a waterfront cottage on the coast of Maine . The cottage is surrounded by water and natural beauty, and serves as both a therapeutic container and a place to breathe between sessions.
I offer both couples and individual intensives, ranging from 2–5 days depending on what each client needs. If you're curious about whether an intensive format might be right for you, I'm happy to talk through it in a consultation.
LET'S TALK
I offer 20-minute consultations for anyone considering working together — whether in weekly sessions or a retreat intensive. It's a chance to get a sense of each other and whether the fit is right.
